Was fooling around tonight on "Problem Playground," the site that accompanies Honda's new "Problem Playground" video that went up online earlier this month from Wieden + Kennedy London. It's really entertaining, and full of fairly-challenging games. (The screen shot above is my unsuccessful attempt at untangling the lines in the sun.) Funniest part of the site is the little animated Honda engineers who "ooh" and "aah" as you try to solve some of the puzzles.

Goofing off at Honda's "Problem Playground"

Olay site gets really personal
Like most women of a certain age, I'm a sucker for skincare advice, so when I saw a commercial tonight on HGTV for OlayForYou.com, I just had to swing by. It takes about five minutes to go through a series of multiple choice questions, at which point Olay recommends a skincare regimen. Of course, all the products suggested were from Olay. What would have been really cool is if they threw in a Dove product here and there just to make it seem objective. Who knows if I'll follow through on their recommendations. Despite my deep, intense hatred of CVS--more on that some other time--I'm a sucker for the skincare aisle. However, worth pointing out that when I Googled a couple of the recommended products, I couldn't find them online.

Goodby creates new language for Comcast
Saw this cool Comcast "triples language" site from Goodby yesterday, at a creative panel at ad:tech (hey, I finally noticed that ad:tech dropped the "@" sign .... the old log was sooooo 1999). Whoops. Got way off point. Anyway, everything about this Comcast site—which promotes the Comcast "triple play" offering—rocks. The navigation, the amusing word plays, and the videos. It centers around behaviors that people indulge in once they have phone, Internet and TV from Comcast. A few examples:Wi-fiving: Instant messaging a friend to celebrate a specific part of a TV program, usually a sporting contest.
Tomphonery: Calling a friend on the phone to hear their reaction to an obnoxious email.
Karaocasting: Singing karaoke On Demand while broadcasting it on your Webcam.
You can enter your own word and see if it gets added to the site. I submitted "postatubing" which is the act of writing posts while watching cable, an activity you can depend on me doing at least several night a week, which explains why so many Adverganza posts make no sense at all. If it gets added, you can bet I'll be wi-fiving.
