Dentsu hands Biegel lawsuit to Morgan Lewis
This just in to the Adverganza newsroom: it looks like Dentsu has replaced Davis & Gilbert with a new law firm—Morgan Lewis and Bockius—to handle the sexual harrassment lawsuit brought against the agency by former Dentsu creative Steve Biegel. A Dentsu spokesperson that I talked to this morning had no knowledge at that time of the switch. Later on, Dentsu couldn't be reached. I've placed calls to Davis & Gilbert and Morgan Lewis and Bockius to see what they say. I've no context as to why this has apparently happened, but will add it in as I get it. On that note, have a good weekend.

they must be scared. This is an international embarrasment.
Companies that do business with Dentsu should be boycotted. Canon, for example, is encouraging these sexually-dysfunctional perverts by not ditching them after they took indecent photographs of underage women, like Sharapova. What's wrong with Canon? As long as they keep Dentsu around, they're boycotted in my book. As for Biegel, he appears to be a morally and ethically driven professional who is blazing a much-needed trail for protecting the rights of the American business person. I praise him for coming forward. Maybe American's will regain some business pride from his endeavor. Family and morals first, nice message!
Newsflash - "B", the blog poster above, is Steve Biegel! If any of you have been following this lawsuit on the web as eagerly as I(hungry for the oddly more inevitable than appalling legalese crap-truths in a world gone sad, not to mention the all too rare chance to watch a renowned sexist bully get sent to bed without any dessert), you know that whenever one of these stories on Biegel V. Dentsu appears, within several hours there is always a rallying cry of defense posted for the King of Clowns, Biegel. (The guy would be a complete joke if he wasn't such a misogynistic frat-house untalented hack-pig - Steve poses a unique double threat - he's as dismissive and demeaning to the rights and self-esteem of young women as he is to the English language he's been gleefully butchering for years). The not so ironic truth is that these poorly written Patrick Henry meets National Lampoon diatribes are so obviously posted by poor lil' Biegel as well.
This bit is especially priceless:

Anyone who either knows Biegel personally or knows anything about him could only respond one way to this bit of linguistic dung: "Ew."
Steve, good Lord, get a life, will you? Do you REALLY see yourself as the noble righteous American David taking down the Rising Sun Goliath here? Perhaps you think Ed Norton will play you in the movie one day, as he once played you brother in icky-goo pot stirring sin, Larry Flynt?
Sorry, dude. The only one who could ever play you is Jim Belushi, and the story he stars in will not be "The People Versus Steve Biegel", (because the people won't give a shit about some broken down out of work mad man) but rather, the same story its been since you "Pushed" out of the womb - "The Steve Biegel Versus Steve Biegel Story". And "B", in case you wonder how the movie turns out, let me save you from the unsuspense. You lose.
Everybody, say it with me now - "Ew." Trust me, when it comes to Steve Biegel, this is the only message.
No, I am not Biegel. On the contrary, I am an educator dedicated to empowering young men and women to protect themselves from expolitation. Therefore, I am quite interested in this case. My adolescent students are sickened by the way Denstu does business (using this case as a "teachable moment"). I hope international business affairs change by the time they hit the work force. Wouldn't want my daughter or son anywhere Dentsu.
Okay, B. I believe you. And since you came clean, so will I - While I did post under the name "Katie" actually, I am a male, a man who used to work with Steve Biegel and was consistently offended by the way he would treat women in our office place. Sorry I had you wrong. And for what it's worth, you are wrong about Steve, believe me. he is a real ass.
I am certainly not innocent enough to expect complete civility and honesty out of the blogosphere, but I will say it's much easier to slam someone when you yourself won't reveal who you are. I wish I'd said that during an earlier comment or two where things have gotten personal, but, at least I'm saying it now.
Steve Biegel is a great American! And I'm not even American!
It appears to me that "Katie" the male who pretended to be female for the sake of this blog (?)has confused his/her apparent personal issue with biegel with that of the greater issue here: that a Japaneese company is exploiting americans who are employed by them by pressuring them to follow "Japaneese customs" that are humiliating and offensive while in Japan. Well GUESS WHAT KATIE: in case you havent noticed..THIS IS AMERICA, and as far as I know, we dont require our employees to bathe in bath houses with employers!
