Chrysler takes baby step into blogosphere
Generally, corporations aren't all that good at blogging, since they seem to lack commitment, so we'll have to keep an eye on the latest in the corporate blogosphere—one from Chrysler that went live this week as part of "The New Chrysler," an initiative which apparently calls for overpaid ex-Home Depot CEOs, among other things. A post by now vice chairman (and former CEO) Tom LaSorda, starts out like many a corporate memo, " It’s a new day here at Chrysler, as we celebrate our beginning as a private company, held by our majority owners at Cerberus Capital Management." Can't you just see the folks in corporate communications sweating over that opening line? There's also a new commercial out featuring the babies above, which I wanted to stream for you, but, instead, when I went to the Web site, all I got was this lousy press release about it.
